Origins

James T. Smiley lives on a planet similar to Earth called Vale in the Milky Sway Galaxy. He lives in a rented out house with his younger brother Niel S. Smiley just outside of the worlds central city, Emototopia. Over the years both brothers have saved the city and the world countless times. Despite this most people of Vale dislike the Smiley Brothers, convinced that they only save them from the problems they cause in the first place.

Species

James and all of Vale are apart of a species called Emotosapiens(or Emomen for short). They sport round heads and skin colors rage from yellow to brown. Some emokins like James miss features like ears and noses. These organs sometimes become internal organs through an Emotoapiens embryonic growth. This is caused by radiation emitted by the entire planet that causes rapid evolutionary and mutant like changes among them.

Character
James is generally happy when he is not cocky, obnoxious, and annoying. He has righteous sense of morality but is known to do the the most evil things to achieve a goal. This is due to the fact that he is insane. It is not obvious but James experiences emotional and mental trauma at random times. Much like his brother who has severe anger issues.

Power
James and his brother come from the Smiley Family blood line. Their relatives range from superheroes to serial killers. This is all do to a dominant trait inherited by the family called the Emotomatrix. The Emotomatrix effects a random part of a Smiley's brain and causes it to become the dominant and widely shown characteristic. James' part of his brain which controls his sanity was effected by the Emotomatrix. As a result he is completely insane, but also sane if he chooses to be. His brother Niel had the part of his brain that controlled anger effected. There is benefit to this though. The Emotomatrix also doubles the brains command power to the other organs. This means it can transmit orders to increase muscle mass, skin density, improved senses, and much more.

Fighting.
James uses his prized weapon, the Smiley Mallet, to combat evil(or anyone he doesn't like). It weighs easily a thousand pounds and comes with many high tech modifications such as lasers and rocket boosters. He says he ordered it out of an ad in a comic book before it was quickly banned from retail. With the power of the EmotoMatrix he can swing it like a twig and it is not to be underestimated.

Special
James and his blood relatives also have the ability to consume mental and physical aspects of others. This is key to gaining and keeping their power. This is typically used to finish of enemies when they are weak. The one being consumed can counter it if they have much mental and or physical power. Once the enemy has been consumed, they will fade from existence. James and Niel rarely do this unless pushed to the limit. James has vowed to,"Consume every bastard-noob who dares to stop me in DHT."
